WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE GOLSON DESIGNS AS MY INTERIOR DESIGNER?
WE COME TO YOU! You do not have to come our studio, instead we bring the samples to you and we design your new space within your own home! This process allows us to design while using the rooms current lighting and the furniture that you may wish to keep. Also, we focus on creating a relationship with our clients and we truly love what we do!
AM I PAYING FOR YOUR TIME?
No, you are not paying for our time. Golson Designs offers a complementary consultation and zero design fees. You will be purchasing your new products through us but will not be paying for our time spent designing your space!
WHAT KIND OF BUDGET DO I NEED TO HAVE?
The common perception people have before hiring an interior designer is "they are too expensive" or "I cannot afford to pay an hourly design fee." Since you will have a complementary consultation and you are not paying a design fee, those two misconceptions can be eliminated. You tell us your desired budget and we create a design within that budget!
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
During your first appointment we take the time to get to know you and your home. In doing so we are able to understand your style and personality, which helps us create a design that you will love for years to come! We discuss a lot during the first appointment including your priorities, ideal design and budget. Once all of this is done we will schedule our next meeting, which is when we will share the design we created to transform your space!!
WHY DON'T YOU CHARGE A DESIGN FEE?
We like to build a relationship with our clients and if there is a hourly rate involved, clients are worried about the time we are in their home instead of focusing on building a relationship. Rather than charging a hourly rate to run around town and gather items, we purchase our products directly from the manufacturer, so essentially we are a store that comes to you!
